Training for staff groups, whole school settings and MATs in the implementation of Hamish & Milo Programme and our theoretical models, emotion coaching etc.

We can provide specific training to suit the needs of individual schools, clusters of schools, or Multi-Academy Trusts. This can be for whole school settings, groups of pastoral staff or mental health leads.
We can provide bespoke training on the implementation of Hamish & Milo Programmes, our theoretical models, emotion coaching etc. The framework for this training will be based upon our Discovery and Explorer training sessions and can include:
- School culture and the part it plays in the context of emotional health and wellbeing
The Hamish & Milo Programme principles, content, approach and implementation, with a focus on how to measure impact and the need for whole school staff awareness for referral, signposting and review
- Understanding the presenting emotional behaviours and the underlying unmet needs
- Significance for all children to feel heard, validated and connected
- Development of an emotions curriculum alongside PSHE
- The role of all adults in building secure and connected relationships with children in their care.
Our training is delivered online. Face-to-face training is available, dependent on location and availability. Additional expenses may occur for travel and accommodation.
Options include:
- Day training session (up to six hours including lunch/breaks) £695
- Half-day training session (up to three hours) £495
- Twilight training session (up to two hours) £395
- Whole school Explorer training session (90-minute) £395
Please note:
1. Once a date has been agreed by both parties, an invoice will be issued, and payment is due before the training commences.
2. Training bookings are processed within five working days from the application date.
3. We cannot accept training orders without an official purchase order number.
4. Payment can be made by BACS or Debit Card only – we do not accept cheques.
5. Payment details will be outlined on your invoice. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days.
6. The fee is non-refundable in the event of any cancellation or postponement by you or your organisation within a period of two weeks before the start of the training. We would however, assist in setting a new date for the training.
7. Full payment would be returned if, for any reason, Hamish & Milo Ltd needed to cancel the training, but an alternative date would be offered.
