The Hamish & Milo experience at Wicklea Academy, Bristol

With children’s mental health at a critical level, creating a relational culture and an environment where children feel safe to talk about their lives, their experiences and their feelings, whilst learning social and emotional skills, is vital.

The Wicklea Academy in Bristol shares their story of Hamish & Milo; how the programmes were implemented, how the emotional language became embedded across the school and how children’s voices were heard and so that they became more confident in themselves through learning essential social and emotional skills.
