Our Festive Season Giveaway returns for 2024! Nominate your local school to receive a gift of free wellbeing programme and resources.

This festive season we are gifting £2500 worth of our wellbeing resources – nominate your local school for the chance to receive a free Hamish & Milo SEMH intervention programme bundle!

We would like your help to find a school that would truly benefit from the gift of Hamish & Milo wellbeing resources. The first chosen school will be gifted the complete Hamish & Milo wellbeing programme in our Five Star Bundle worth £2,145, included in the bundle is;

  • Complete programme – all our 10 emotion theme packs with 10 sock puppet kits
  • Hamish & Milo Online – all our resources in an easily accessible, easy-to-use, time-saving, digital platform for unlimited staff forever
  • Navigator Dashboard – access for unlimited staff*
  • Voyager training – one delegate on our Level 3 Wellbeing in Education Award accredited by NCFE
  • Explorer training – 90-minute sessions for all staff on the approach, implementation, impact measure tools and supporting resources

So, if you are a teacher, TA, ELSA, headteacher, advisor, parent or an advocate of Hamish & Milo and know a school in your local area, or one you support, who would be excited and delighted to receive the resources, please nominate them into our Festive Season Giveaway! This giveaway is open to both existing customers and those new to the Hamish & Milo community throughout the UK and Ireland. Only one nomination per person will be accepted. The closing date for nominations is 18:00 27th December 2024. Full terms and conditions are below.

A shortlist of nominated schools will be made from your descriptions of need and reasons for nomination. The final selections will be made by an independent external judge, who will choose the lucky schools!

By growing our community, we hope to see more schools being able to make a difference that really counts for so many children throughout 2025 and beyond!

  1. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘The Company’ and ‘We’ refers to Hamish & Milo Limited. ‘The Website’ refers to https://hamishandmilo.org and ‘The Gifts’ refer to the promotion prizes.
  2. By entering the promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This promotion will start 9.00 26th November 2024 and the closing date is 23:59 on 27th December 2024. Nominations received after this time will be void.
  3. The ‘Winning Gift’ refers to one Five Star Bundle (value £2,145.00), ‘Second Place Gift’ refers to two Wellbeing Plus Programmes of the schools choice (value £250.00) and ‘Third Place Gift’ refers to one pack of Sensation & Emotion cards and one pair of Hamish & Milo Pals (value £70.00).
  4. This promotion is open to both existing customers and those new to the Hamish & Milo community throughout the UK and Ireland.
  5. In order to be eligible, nominators complete their nominations on a form accessed on The Website at https://hamishandmilo.org/festive-season-giveaway/ providing contact information on their nominated school. Nominators consent to allow The Company to store and process their personal data under the terms outlined on our Privacy Policy.
  6. Three winners will be chosen by an independent person from all the Promotion entrants.
  7. Promotion winners will be announced on 6th January 2025 on The Website and via contact email. The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Company if requested and will be shared to enable fulfilment of The Gifts.
  8. If a winner cannot be contacted using reasonable efforts within 10 days from the Promotion Closing Date, then an alternative winner will be drawn from all the remaining Promotion entrants.
  9. The Gifts will be delivered by DPD courier week commencing 6th January 2025. We will pay delivery charges.
  10. No purchase is necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.
  11. Only one nomination per person will be accepted.
  12. Employees of The Company are not eligible to enter this promotion.
  13. Instagram, X, LinkedIn or Facebook are not in any way affiliated or involved in the promotion.
  14. We can accept no responsibility for entries that fail to be properly submitted for any technical reason whatsoever and will reject entries submitted by any other means than via the webpage.
  15. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Company’s liability under or in connection with the promotion or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the ‘Gifts’ in question.
  16. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Company shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Gift for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the company and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
  17. ‘The Gifts’ are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative available. The Company reserves the right to gift an alternative gift of equal or greater value, should the advertised gift or any part of it become unavailable.
  18. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Company’s reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, without prior notice with no liability to any entrants.
  19. The winner’s names and social media usernames may be posted on The Company’s social media profiles after the winners have been selected.
  20. The result of the Promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  21. The school, name and county of each winner will be available on request by sending an email to hello@hamishandmilo.org and will be posted on our website.
