Calm me – anxiety pack
Enabling children to begin to understand and recognise the signs of anxiety within themselves and others helps them to know they are not alone with these feelings.
Having some helpful ways to express, regulate themselves and share their thoughts can be powerful in helping children feel understood and able to survive through difficult times. Through the discussion and activities, the children will:
- recognise and notice the sensations in their body and how they are feeling inside,
- understand what is happening inside them when they are worried or anxious,
- explore ways to self regulate when they are feeling worried,
- develop the language to express how they are feeling and know how to ask for help,
- discover ways to help them feel calm.
Our wellbeing resources are thorough and detailed, time-saving and provide the language to help pastoral staff listen, notice and encourage children to express their thoughts and feelings in a way that is safe, supportive and relational.
Our programmes teach and embed transferable emotional literacy skills that are vital in both class and life.

The sock puppet pet craft kits are packed with items for seven people so the group facilitator can make a sock friend too!
The sock puppet craft kits include everything you need; socks, googly eyes, buttons, felt, pom-poms, ribbons, pipe cleaners, and fabric glue! We even include a special ‘handmade with love’ wooden button for each child’s creation. Sock puppet background and helpful instructions card is also included.
