Friendship bookmarks activity

Changing lives through a love of books and shared reading.

Activity suggestion: Ask your children to make friendship bookmarks with a message, affirmation, poem or quote inspiring kindness, compassion and friendship and place it into a book in the school library for someone to find to brighten their day. Or they can place their bookmark into a friends’ book for them to find and to know they are loved and cared about.

To help we have created a template with cutout marks and space for the children to write their messages. Suggest that they can illustrate the bookmarks themselves with drawings and even add ribbons and tassels for extra effect! Have fun!
